Do I need to migrate my existing customer or job data?
No — most operators start fresh and let RentThisApp build their customer list as new jobs come in. If you have an existing customer list you want to bring across, talk to us during onboarding and we'll walk through what fits your situation. Pricing rules, dumpster sizes, and yard configuration are set up during the initial walkthrough either way.
Can I keep my own pricing model?
Yes. RentThisApp configures rates per dumpster size, per yard, by rental period, with separate residential and commercial pricing if you need it. Distance-based fees, contamination surcharges, and per-ton overage rates are all set in your settings. We don't lock you into a pricing template.
What if I run dumpsters out of multiple yards?
Multi-yard is supported. Each yard has its own inventory, dispatch board view, and pricing — set rates per yard if your fuel or dump costs vary by location. Routing pulls from the closest yard with the right container available. Drivers see their assigned yard's day on the mobile app.
Do you handle dump ticket tracking?
Yes. Drivers log scale tickets from the truck — weight, materials, contamination charges. Tickets attach to the customer's job automatically and feed your tonnage overage billing. Dump facility costs track separately from customer revenue so you see real margin per haul, not just the gross.
Does RentThisApp work with my payment processor?
Card payments run through Stripe. Customers pay invoices online and reconciliation back to the job is automatic. If you're currently using a different processor, we'll walk through the switchover during onboarding — Stripe is the only supported processor for full feature coverage today.
